Tip #1

It’s time for a closet clean out!

Go through your current wardrobe and get rid of any items that-

  1. Are Damaged- Is it snagged or stained?

  1. Too Big/Too Small- You need clothes that fit your current body! Your body is beautiful and for you to feel that beauty, you need clothes that actually fit.

  2. You Haven’t Worn in Over a Year- I know what you are thinking, “I MAY wear it again!” Key word here is “may”. Donate that old shirt, friend. If you are really unsure about parting with an item, turn the hanger around to catch your eye and make sure you wear it!

Tip #2

Utilize your entire space!

  1. Use baskets and dividers when folding clothes.

  2. Install drawers and shelving to help tuck items away and create more space.

  3. Hang wire bins on the wall for smaller clothing items and accessories.

Tip #3

Matching Hangers

Okay, this may not seem like a tip, but it makes your closet more visually appealing and will help you to better enjoy your space and keeping it organized! Our go to hangers are velvet.

Tip #4

Group clothing items together

Group like items together to quickly find what you need. For example, we like to organize tops by sleeve length and then lightest to darkest in color.

Tip #5

Maintain your organized closet

You’ve got a good thing going, now it’s time to keep it that way! A simple way to do this? Keep a bin or two in your closet for clothes to donate or toss.
